Children in 5th through 7th grades at The Renaissance School are participating in a five week program at the Vermont Air National Guard base in South Burlington.  Through the program, children are developing their skills in science and learning about force and motion by conducting experiments and investigations related to flight.  This program of study focused on the construction of a working rocket.  The photos in this post document the culmination of that program.
