Students at The Renaissance School celebrated Earth Day by taking part in a number of activities coordinated with Shelburne Farms.  The morning began with an all school gathering below Sheep’s Knoll, where stories were shared and songs were sung.  The children joined with friends from other classes for spring clean-up, making visual art pieces from recycled and found materials, nature walks, and visits to the pond.  The students also shared a communal snack prepared by members of The Renaissance School parent community.
