The musicians were David Gusakov, of Bristol, on violin; Hilary Hatch, of Leicester, on viola; and Bonnie Klimowski, of Fairfax, on cello. All are longtime members of the VSO and entertained the audience with a variety of classical music selections, combined with fun, interactive discussions and demonstrations. The series has been designed to introduce children to some of the instruments and members of the symphony orchestra, and to make key concepts in classical music-making come alive.
