The Renaissance School community came together for their annual celebration of the art program at the school along with a picnic dinner with auction for families and friends.

fish.jpgThe sounds of laughter, conversation and exciting auction results filled the air in the beautiful sun-filled green at Shelburne Commons as the school held it’s Fourth Annual “Create and Celebrate” event.  Inside the school’s large performance space, students, friends and family were treated to an exhibit of hundreds of pieces of student artwork, including a large and colorful full-scale jungle scene inspired by the exotic artwork of French Post-Impressionist painter Henri Rousseau.  The art show also showcased the wonderful variety of artistic styles offered by the school’s art teacher, Laura Poirier, throughout the year with her students.
