Students chopping vegetables for the Vegetable Harvest Soup

Amy’s Pre-kindergarten class is studying the human body. The children have pieced together skeletons and done movement activities such as “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes” to exercise their bodies. Amy integrated lessons about healthy eating as a way to care for our body with the feast of Thanksgiving by making and sharing a Harvest Vegetable Soup. Friends and family were invited to share in the meal at school. The children had a great time chopping the vegetables for the soup and were delighted to dine with their parents at school.
