On Friday, December 12th, the Endeavour students and faculty spent the afternoon ice skating at Cairns Arena. We are so very grateful to Christie Crowe and Laurel Neme for suggesting the idea and helping us rent the ice. It was a great pre-holiday outing that allowed us all to have fun and to connect away from school. I was lucky enough to include my three-year-old son, Chance, who is learning to skate and play hockey. He had so much fun skating with the "big kids," and kept talking about it all night. Many students were beginner skaters, so it was fun to see them learning together and encouraging each other. And of course, the boys just couldn't resist stealing the girls hats ... it is middle school universal constant.
