Now Enrolling at Endeavour

Now Enrolling for The Endeavor Middle School

In September 2014, The Endeavour Middle School welcomes its inaugural class of 6th to 8th grade students. Endeavour will be an amazing place for students to learn, explore the world around them and develop knowledge and skill that will ensure a successful transition to high school.

Endeavour Middle School students will benefit from the finest educational experience available.  One designed specifically around the intellectual, social and emotional needs of the 6th to 8th grade age group.

At your convenience we’re happy to schedule a tour of the building and introduce you to Endeavour.  Please call Kelly at 802.985.2153 or email her at Kelly.libby@heartworksvt.com and she will help you schedule your tour.  You can find the Endeavour enrollment package here.  For students that enroll for the 2014/2015 school year, we offer generous financial incentives.

At Endeavour students will find themselves immersed in:

  • A place of academic exploration and discovery where science and mathematics will be centers of excellence in the curriculum.
  • A center for intellectual, athletic and social activities.
  • An environment to participate in conversations and activities inside and outside of class on a broad range of subjects including science, art, history, music, performing arts, language arts, social studies, finance, mathematics, politics and other topics important to their middle school experience.

The Endeavour community will be a remarkably inclusive place to learn and students will work collaboratively and stay focused on their school work.  Our highly qualified teaching staff will deliver an outstanding and challenging curriculum and set high expectations for learning and classroom behaviors that will bring out the best in all students.

Endeavour students will also feel a unique spirit of fun and excitement for learning in an environment carefully crafted to balance in-class learning with opportunities for self-directed and small group study.

We’ve configured a number of separate spaces students can call their “own” which are designed with an older student in mind and that will nurture their growing need for independence but with appropriate boundaries.  These include a library, computer lab – each student will receive their own personal computer for use during the school year, a student lounge and “the Crow’s Nest” study room situated at the top floor of our building with a view across the Shelburne Commons green space.

Endeavour students will benefit from this unique environment as they not only master their studies, they will also work to establish their own unique personal identities.  The Endeavour campus is a place where all students will feel safe and supported.  It will be a community that supports the development of confidence as individuals, as citizens in the broader community and help them to build a high level of self-esteem during a particularly challenging developmental period.

Endeavour students and teachers will together create a truly remarkable and unique school and a community.  They can expect that new academic and personal discoveries will be made and lasting friendships will be formed.  As parents, you will see us nurture your middle school students mind, body and spirit as we prepare them for a successful transition to high school and beyond.  At Endeavour, you can be confident that your children will learn much and create a wide range of knowledge and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

We very much look forward to welcoming your child into Endeavour and please feel free to call Kelly at 802.985.2153 or email her at Kelly.libby@heartworksvt.com and she will help you schedule your tour.
