Our son has been enrolled at Heartworks for a little over a year. We've had a great experience all-around. His teachers and the wider staff are friendly, communicative, and flexible in spite of all the challenges facing childcare providers today. We feel like we get the right amount of communication about what's going on throughout the day, and every time we have reached out we've received a prompt response from the directors. Our son is always excited to go to school and see his friends! Thanks to Ms. Lily, Ms. Lindsay, Ms. Stephanie, and all the folks at Heartworks who provide such a caring envornoment.
Thank you to Jenny, Ashley, and ALL the Heartworks PreK teachers. We know that our children are safe, stimulated, cared for, and getting an awesome education every day we drop them off. The bonds they make with their teachers and friends there are just incredible.
We have been a part of the Heartworks Preschool family in Shelburne for the better part of 3 years and are incredibly grateful and impressed with the level of education, the staff and administration. Our teachers this year are kind, helpful and communicative. My questions are always met with constructive feedback and in an exceptionally timely manner. I also really appreciate that all the teachers know my son's name and say hello to him as he is entering and leaving the building. Teachers and staff are all friendly and greet me with a smile and a hello upon entering the building, it truly is a special and family oriented school.We feel very lucky to have found a school that our son not only loves but feels safe and protected. He has learned so much this year, his language and coping skills are significantly improved. I also appreciate the small class size and feel that my son gets special attention with his teachers and constructive one on one time with his friends. Since the start of the school year our son has surpassed our expectations with his language skills. We love that Heartworks communicates with us about his daily activity with pictures and comments from his teachers at pickups.Thank you Heartworks!
We have been so thrilled with Heartworks Shelburne! Our son has been in two classrooms since starting at 18 months and he has been obsessed with all of his teachers. His development continues to grow in big spurts due to his time at school. His teachers offer immense skills and passion to their (very important) work and I continue to be impressed with their unique attention to each student. I also take a lot of comfort in the fact that many of the staff members know my child's name and personality, not just his own teachers. This fosters a really strong feeling of community and care that we are so appreciative of.
My daughter is excited every morning about going to school to see her teachers, Carly and Lo. She is becoming a more social, inquisitive, and confident person each day. We are very thankful to have Heartworks in our community and its incredible staff.The atmosphere and learning environment is optimal for all young children. The children’s needs are addressed and the staff take special interest in Jane and the other students. I can be at ease when she is at school knowing she is cared for, safe, and in a place that facilitates her future success.
We have had a wonderful experience with Heartworks with our two boys going through almost every classroom. The teachers are kind and become experts on your kids, their curriculum is creative, the facilities are great and Ashley the director is very communicative and a warm leader. Welcome to Heartworks Early Eduation in Shelburne, VT
Heartworks School in Shelburne is the home of our first preschool program started by Louise Piche in 1988. Located just north of the village of Shelburne, Heartworks Shelburne is adjacent to the green at Shelburne Commons in Buildings B and C and is the largest campus. These buildings provide spacious classrooms along with lots of green space to explore in the courtyard, a field and playground behind the buildings, and a nearby forest. The tremendous playground area also has a sledding hill for winter play. Heartworks Shelburne enjoys easy access to Route 7, ample paved parking, and close proximity to Shelburne, Charlotte, and South Burlington.
